The playable party is Wendy, Frygor, Frostyna, Sir Chicken, and Baconator. Each brings a flavor that deals extra damage to matching enemies. Dr. Mechborg is the antagonist, not a party slot.
Wendy is the only character the official page describes as the one you move. She is from Dublin, Ohio, fights with two spatulas, and carries Spicy and Fresh Beef damage. A line on that page says her touch melts frozen things. I treat that as a story ability, not as a numbered spell, because no cooldown or damage figure is attached.
Frygor is the Crispy ally from Russetwood. One write-up spells that town Russelwood. The Wendy's page and the research notes use Russetwood, so the table uses Russetwood and I mention the other spelling only as a miss. Frostyna is from Chillcrest in the frosty north and is described as bending time. Sir Chicken leads a mech resistance out of Nuggedor and uses a Nugget Strike with Spicy damage. Baconator uses Fresh Beef and Bacon and a bacon sword. His hometown is not on the page, so the origin cell stays empty.
Wendy's describes flavor-based matchups, and the store describes timed hits. The cited profiles do not specify a party targeting rule.
There is no published best party, because there is no published roster swap. The five names are the cast. If a later patch adds a sixth ally, the table grows from the same file. Until then, “who should I use” is “the five who are already in the story.”
